Favorite reads of the year 2017

Wow I can’t believe 2017 is over! Here’s my favorite reads out of everything  I read in 2017! Let me know your favorites from the year! I will post the individual review for each book at the end of the few sentences about each book.

The Sandcastle Empire by Kayla Olson- If you follow me on any social media, you know my love for this book and for Kayla. There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing it was and how much I love it. After every chapter, I was on edge and eager to read more. If you have not read TSE, you *NEED* to! Full length review here

Gray Wolf Island by Tracey Neithercott- Once again such an amazing book! Kayla told me I would like it and she was right! Definitely a book you NEED to read! Full length review here 🙂

This is Where it Ends by Marieke Nijkamp- Longest 50 something minutes in this book. Every second while reading this I was completely on edge, not a single page went by where I wasn’t on edge. While reading this I felt as if I was in the shoes of one of the victims. Full length review here 🙂

They Both Die at The End by Adam Silvera- Every single one of Adam’s books left me in tears, once again definitely a MUST read for anyone who hasn’t read it! Full length here

History Is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera- ONCE again left me bawling. Full length here

More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera- MHTN had been sitting on my shelves for months and I am so happy I read it when I did. Full length here

Warcross by Marie Lu- OKAY! Like this book killed me in so many ways, good and bad. I don’t even know how to quickly sum it up. Full length with spoilers here

Geekerella by Ashley Poston- I’m usually not a big fan of fairytale retellings and don’t usually buy them but I did with Geekrella. I loved it from the very beginning, I 100% recommend this book to each and every one of you!  Full length here

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo- It took me so long to finally get around to reading this, but I am so glad I did and I can’t wait to read the rest of the trilogy and of course Six of Crows! I am absolutely in love with the grishaverse! Full length with spoilers here

Every book on this list I whole heartedly 100% recommend you read !

  1. Some of my fave 2017 reads are TSE (😍😍😍), This Mortal Coil – which I recommend for you, it gave me TSE vibes and it sounds very similar to the upcoming TSS, The Last Namsara, Furyborn, Strange the Dreamer, The Language of Thorns, and Foolish Hearts!! So many!
