I actually only started reading towards the last week of June but I was still able to read 4 books within the last week.
The Sandcastle Empire by Kayla Olson: I posted a review after I finished but here’s a few sentences on TSE. I absolutely fell in love with the first word, the first sentence. I devoured TSE in about 56 hours. I was talking with Kayla throughout reading the whole thing and OMG she is so so sweet. You definitely need to read The Sandcastle Empire. No amount of stars can be equivalent to how amazing this book is but 5/5
Geekerella by Ashley Poston: I was not expecting to like this as much as I did. I am not usually a fan of retellings but I fell in love with this one. The way the characters were developed and the way the story line was developed was done so well. I really liked how Elle and Darien were texting back and forth and never knew who each other was haha. It was written so so well. 5/5
The Outsiders by S.E Hinton: I read this once in 7th grade so 4 or 5 years ago and I loved it then but forgot most of it throughout the years. The only thing I remembered throughout the years was “Stay gold pony boy stay gold” but everyone knows that haha. I started this at like 9 at night and finished the next morning. I will definitely re-read this again and again. 5/5
Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur: Honestly this book in my opinion did not live up to all the hype. I think it is so over hyped, I’m not saying its bad, but its over hyped. To start with I am not a big fan of poetry but wanted to give this a shot, it was good but over hyped.
